Original Package Instructions
Sweet and Savory 'char sui' marinade for pork, chicken, ribs & seafood.
Also ideal as rice seasoning, or vegetable stir-fry.
For each 2 Tbs marinade mix, add:
- 2 Tbs vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Pour over chicken, seafood or pork.
Allow to marinade several hours or overnight in refrigerator.
Bake or BBQ
 
 
Char Sui Pork Tenderloin
Chinatown Char Sui Pork
 
Mix 2 Tbs dry marinade, 2 Tbs vegetable oil, and 1/4 cup soy sauce.
Pour over pork tenderloin, cover, and allow to marinade overnight in refrigerator.
Slow cook in the oven or the BBQ
 
 
Asian Roast Chicken
Whole chicken pieces on a bed of onion
2 Tbs extra-virgin olive oil
2 Tbs Asian BBQ mix
1 cut-up chicken (8 pieces; about 3 1/2 pounds)
1 large onion, peeled, cut into 16 wedges

Add 2 Tbs of extra virgin olive oil to the Chinese Rub and mix.
Add chicken pieces; turn to coat. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat oven to 425°F. Arrange onion wedges in 13x9x2-inch roasting pan. Arrange chicken, skin side up, atop onions. Roast until chicken is cooked through, basting occasionally with pan juices, about 50 minutes. Remove chicken from oven and let rest 10 minutes. Arrange chicken and onions on platter and serve.
 
 
 
Vegetable Stir Fry
A quick addition to your stir fry for an Asian flavor
 
Simply sprinkle in 1 Tbs dry Asian BBQ mix over your choice of cut vegetables.  Stir fry in oiled skillet.

 
 
Asian Fried Rice
Turn your bland rice into a tasty dish
 
Prepare rice as normal, then in an oiled skillet quickly stir-fry with 1 Tbs Asian BBQ mix.  Add choice of chopped vegetables.
 
 
Asian Cranberry Sauce
A delightful twist on the holiday original
You will need:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2 cups dry red wine (any brand)
- 3/4 cup sugar (or more according to taste)
- 1 Tbs Asian BBQ mix
 
Heat a large saucepan over medium heat.  Add cranberries, and stir until cranberries start to burst (about 3 - 5 minutes).
Add wine and sugar, and continue cooking till reduced to a thick sauce consistency (about 15 minutes).
While stirring, add 1 Tbs Asian BBQ mix to the sauce.  
Let sauce cool;  can be served warm or cold.
Serve with Turkey, or over cheese as an appetizer.
